Studio Base Bin is a fully equipped rehearsal studio that specializes in music and video production, run and owned by Juno/Felix Nominee Albert Chambers. Opened in 1995, Base Bin has continued to push boundaries by becoming one of the only studios in Montreal that is a "One Stop Shop" for all your music and video needs. Base Bin offers beautiful and affordable rehearsal studios, music recordings, song & album production, original music, video production, mixing , postproduction for film and television AND we will soon be opening up our very own Youtube/vlogging room on our top floor.

MEET OUR TEAM
Owner / Songwriter / Producer/ Sound Engineer/Videographer
Albert Chambers is a Juno/Felix nominated songwriter and producer. Born and raised in Montreal, Chambers attended Vanier College where he continued pursuing his musical education. Upon graduation Chambers became a studio musician playing bass, guitar and vocals for multiple artists. Opening his own studio in 1995, Base Bin Studios, Chambers has been on the cutting edge of creating amazing works of art working alongside David Usher, Corey Hart, Dream Theatre, Debbie Gibson, Simple Plan and many others. In 2013 Chambers was nominated for a Juno award and a Felix award for Best Adult Contemporary Album of the Year, for his work on Coral Egan’s “The Year He Drove Me Crazy”. Chambers went on to become an Official Juno Jury Member between 2015-2017. Chambers is credited as a contributing columnist for Canadian Music Magazine, Professional Sound Magazine and Muzik ETC magazine. As well as being an amazing music composer and producer Chambers is also a highly talented videographer and has incredible skills in both music and video post production.
Studio & Social Media Manager / Sound Engineer/ Singer/ Video Production Assistant
Kayla Whynter is a singer/songwriter/sound engineer from Montreal, Canada. Whynter attended Vanier College with a major in Classical Voice before going on to obtain her degree in Sound Design and Engineering from Trebas Institute where she finished with a recognition of excellence. Whynter is best known for her work as lead singer and songwriter to heavy metal band MEDUSA, pop/rock group DOLLHOUSE RIOT and is currently the lead singer of her self named rock band WHYNTER. She has played stages for up to 40,000 people and has opened for The Misfits, Tim 'Ripper' Owens, Die Mannequin, Courage My Love, Wednesday 13, Hunter Valentine and others. Whynter has been seen on Global TV's "Can Your School Rock”.
Sound Engineer / Songwriter / Videographer
Sylvain Auclair is a Singer/Songwriter/Bass Player/Music Producer from Montreal, Canada. Auclair attended Université de Montréal for Music Theory and Composition. Auclair is best known for his work as a singer and musician in bands Lazarus Heart, Karcius, Tramp of the Century and Heaven’s Cry with whom he has toured in Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Atlanta. Auclair is a multi talented artist that has played with artists such as Kevin Parent, Michael Pagliaro, Jean Leloup, Claude Dubois and many others. Auclair has been working at Base Bin Studios since 2000 and is an integral part to the team. Auclair has been seen on TVA’s “La Voix”.
Sound Engineer / Composer/ Instrumentalist
Hugo is a Composer, Sound Engineer and guitar player, he attended the International Music Educators in the city of Paris and then did his Master’s degree at the Gustave Eiffel University in Music and Music production. At the same he also graduated from the SAE Institute of Paris as a sound Engineer and worked in the film industry for the renowned composer Armand Amar. He now lives in the city of Montreal and works as a sound engineering at the studio and as a composer for movies, publicities and video games.
Sound Engineer / Singer
Emma Bronson is a multi-media artist with a particular focus on music and sound. She studied classical piano and violin as a child, later moving on to guitar and vocal. She was a board member and vocal instructor at Rock Camp Montreal, where she worked to empower youth through music. As an invited guest vocalist Emma has played shows like Lux Magna, Montreal Fringe Fest and opened for Princess Nokia. She is currently getting her undergrad at Concordia University in Communications studies, with a specialization in sound production.
